Secretlab has announced its second major K/DA collaboration, this time fully tuned to the FIRESTARTER era. The new collection features the TITAN Evo gaming chair and MAGNUS Pro desk, both wrapped in flames and K/DA imagery. Member symbols for Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa also appear on the designs.

Design & Visual Details

As with the POP/STARS and ALL OUT chairs, the K/DA FIRESTARTER Edition chair has its own unique design for the 2026 comeback era. Perhaps this is what took so long for a comeback; Secretlab can’t possibly expect the Blades to buy a new K/DA gaming chair every two years… right?

This new chair features deep burgundy, magenta, and smoky black flames climbing along the backrest and side wings, K/DA branding and group motifs, and the striking white K/DA logo running vertically down the backrest, complemented by each member's individual symbol on the front.

This year's symbols differ not only visually, but also in order from the ALL OUT design. 2020’s chair featured (from top to bottom) Kai’Sa, Ahri, Akali, and Evelynn’s symbols, while the 2026 FIRESTARTER leads with Ahri on top (as she should be), followed by Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa.

This ordering of the girls alone earns this chair our full endorsement, as that's, of course, the only correct order of the members.

Beyond that, intricate silver metallic embroidery and flame filigree wrap the seat's side wings and the front seat base edges. It is—ironically—a very cool design.

A darkened hall. Flickering candlelight. Flowers and an altar stand waiting — the beginning of a transformation ritual.

The next second, red eyes flare in the darkness. Four silhouettes emerge through smoke and firelight: sharp shoulder lines, scorch-like fabrics, every step a rebirth through fire.

This is the opening of the FIRESTARTER music video. It is also the first statement K/DA have made in six years.

The first moment to take off online was a dance sequence by K/DA member Kai’Sa. Dubbed the “eight seconds of god-tier choreography” online, it inspired creators to recreate the moves, turning a virtual character's choreography into a physical language of its own in the real world.

K/DA is a virtual girl group from League of Legends. Leader Ahri steers the creative direction, Evelynn is the group’s diva and fashion mastermind, Akali is its most rebellious rapper, and Kai’Sa expresses herself through dance rather than words.

The group debuted with an AR performance at the WORLDS 2018 opening ceremony. Their debut single, “POP/STARS”, and the ALL OUT EP both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Digital Song Sales chart. Since then, the group has earned Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), amassed more than 2.7 billion streams worldwide, and surpassed 1.8 billion video views.

But K/DA's real story isn’t in the numbers. Over eight years, they’ve done something most virtual idols never manage: grow up.

From the Streets to the Runway:

K/DA’s Three-Act Transformation

Viewed through the lens of fashion criticism, K/DA’s image evolution over eight years isn’t a story of inconsistency, but one of a clear, continuous arc.

ACT I · 2018: Streetwear Pioneers

K/DA’s creation was a counterintuitive choice. The creative team initially considered taking a cute idol approach, but ultimately went in the opposite direction: a modern, avant-garde aesthetic that fused street culture with the feel of bespoke craftsmanship.

K-pop sensibilities, hip-hop attitude, four distinctly different character archetypes — “POP/STARS” defined more than just a song. It introduced an entirely new kind of phenomenon, one that bridged gaming, music, and fashion.

ACT II · 2020: The Haute Couture Turn

The story begins in 2019. That year, Louis Vuitton partnered with Riot Games for the first time, creating the official trophy travel case for the Summoner’s Cup at the League of Legends WORLDS 2019 Championship. Nicolas Ghesquière, the house’s artistic director of women’s collections, designed in-game looks for Qiyana and Senna, members of the virtual hip-hop group True Damage, and launched a collaborative capsule collection spanning more than 40 products.

In 2020, the partnership expanded to K/DA. Ghesquière personally selected pieces from multiple collections spanning Fall 2014 to Spring 2019 to style all four members. It marked the first time a top-tier fashion house had defined the look of virtual characters with the same level of attention it gave real-life artists.

The music evolved alongside the visuals. “THE BADDEST" delivered a bold declaration of confidence, while “MORE” revealed a more mature side of the group. The ALL OUT EP showcased an ambition that went far beyond their debut.

Around that time, Evelynn said something that would be quoted again and again: "There's no point in repeating a style you’ve already done.”

ACT III · 2026: Reinvention on the Runway

Six years later, K/DA returned with a defining phrase: “Reinvention on the Runway.”

K/DA is making its return to both League of Legends and League of Legends: Wild Rift, with a transformation that extends across every aspect of the group’s visual identity.

The PC version’s skins build a sharp, aggressive, avant-garde aesthetic around red and black. Wild Rift, by contrast, takes a lighter, more ethereal approach, creating a complementary visual counterpoint to the PC designs.

The new album features four tracks, led by the title single, “FIRESTARTER” — a declaration in its own right.

The fashion narrative has continued uninterrupted. This year, K/DA has reunited with Louis Vuitton for a new addition to the Louis Vuitton Travel Book series, The Tempo Point Travel Book. Through artistic illustrations, the book imagines 24 hours in the life of each of the four members and is published in Chinese, English, and French.

From the trophy travel case in 2019, to the runway looks in 2020, and now to an illustrated art book in 2026, the collaboration itself tells a miniature history of fashion’s evolution.

AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH K/DA

VOGUE: It’s been a while since we last saw K/DA. Why come back now? What was going on with the group in the lead-up to this return?

Ahri: I know some fans have wondered whether we’d ever come back at all. But we chose this moment because we had something new we wanted to say. Each of us has changed a lot since our debut, and even since our last comeback. Now feels like the right time to show how far we’ve come.

Evelynn: Some groups release music just to stay relevant. But K/DA has never existed just to get attention. We’ve always created on our own terms, at our own pace.

Akali: Besides, we’ve all had an amazing time in the meantime. I worked with True Damage, and Kai’Sa travelled all over the world for dance residencies. Just because you haven’t heard from us doesn’t mean we haven’t been working.

Ahri: It feels so good to be back together again!

VOGUE: The lead single from the EP is called FIRESTARTER. What message do you want to convey through the song and the album as a whole?

Kai’Sa: This new era of K/DA is all about evolution and transformation. We’re burning everything from the past to be reborn through the flames. It’s not about rejecting who we used to be; it’s about celebrating who we are now.

Evelynn: You’ve probably noticed that this version of us has a darker, more dangerous edge. You can feel it in everything, from the outfits to the choreography. Of course, it’s still K/DA. We’re just turning up the intensity.

Ahri: I hope FIRESTARTER inspires people to embrace change and become whoever they want to be. Try something new. Do something that scares you. Even get a short haircut, if that’s what you want. (Laughs) Whatever it is, just go for it.

VOGUE: K/DA’s overall aesthetic has undergone a dramatic shift this time around — it’s more avant-garde, sharper, and more mature. How did that transformation come about? Did one person lead the way, or did you all arrive at this direction together?

Akali: Eve, this one’s yours.

Evelynn: (Smiles) Thank you, darling. Yes, the aesthetic this time around is certainly eye-catching. When Ahri started describing her vision for FIRESTARTER, I knew exactly where to take the styling. I’ve spent the past few years immersed in avant-garde fashion, and I’m especially drawn to bold, sculptural designers like Iris van Herpen. Their designs make it impossible to look away. And really, what is fashion without a runway?

Akali: And a whole lot of pyrotechnics. (Laughs)

Ahri: Eve had a very clear vision for the music and the music video, and it clicked with all of us. We worked together on the lyrics and vocals, but Eve and Kai’Sa took the lead on the visual direction for the video.

Kai’Sa: I really loved working so closely with Eve on this one. We put together an entire mood board, and it gave me so much inspiration for the choreography, especially the transformation sequence.

VOGUE: Your collaboration with Louis Vuitton in 2020 sent shockwaves through the industry. It was the first time a top-tier fashion house had partnered with a group like yours. Now you’re working with LV again this year. What does fashion mean to K/DA?

Evelynn: Fashion has always been an integral part of K/DA, and that will never change. It’s how we express who we are, both individually and as a group. Akali’s streetwear aesthetic is worlds apart from the drama in my own looks, but there’s a thread connecting every outfit. Louis Vuitton understands the power of fashion on a deeper level, which is what makes them such a great partner. For both of us, fashion is a form of storytelling.

Kai’Sa: When we were developing FIRESTARTER, we wanted to build movement and transformation into the clothes themselves. The outfits shouldn’t restrict our movements; they should move with us and become part of the story. We actually transform our looks right in the middle of the runway, while the song is still playing. Fashion speaks for itself.

VOGUE: You’re the founder of K/DA and the group’s emotional core. How has your role as leader changed since the beginning?

Ahri: I have to give a lot of credit to the person who gave me that push and helped bring K/DA to life — Evelynn. She’s been by my side since day one, especially when I felt lost early in my career. She encouraged me to be brave enough to be myself. She’s always been fearless.

Evelynn: Go on. Don’t stop now.

Ahri: (Laughs) So, in my mind, we’re co-founders of K/DA. As for my role, it’s definitely changed over time. In the beginning, K/DA was something completely new, and it needed a lot of definition and direction. I focused on making sure we were all moving in sync. But after so many projects together, our chemistry is practically seamless. We understand each other, we trust each other, and we lead this group together.

VOGUE: You and Evelynn have always been K/DA’s core creative partnership. What was different about making this new album?

Ahri: We were constantly thinking about how to move K/DA forward. Early in the creative process, Eve pointed out that moving forward meant not dwelling on past successes. I completely agreed, and that’s how we found the central statement for this era: K/DA is back, but we’re not the K/DA you remember. It felt like a challenge — how far could we push expectations? How far could we push ourselves? That rebellious, unapologetic energy ultimately became the seed of FIRESTARTER.

VOGUE: You’ve always led the group’s fashion direction. Can you take us behind the scenes?

Evelynn: As much as I enjoy personally picking out clothes for everyone, that’s not quite how it works. The girls trust me to come up with the overall vision, then everyone brings their own ideas to the table, and we build from there. Every look has to fit perfectly — and Idon'tt just mean the tailoring. The person wearing it has to feel completely comfortable in it, too. You'll never catch Akali in a skirt, thoughI'vee tried just about everything to convince her to give one a go.

VOGUE: From K-pop street style to Louis Vuitton, and now this more avant-garde image — what three fashion keywords would defineK/DA'ss three eras?

Evelynn: The POP/STARS era was raw and individualistic. We styled ourselves, wearing pieces pulled straight from our own wardrobes. It worked because we were showing the most authentic versions of ourselves. That also established our approach to fashion: finding the perfect balance between individual expression and a unified group identity.

The ALL OUT era was luxury, extravagance, and spectacle — designed to turn heads. We fully embraced being in the spotlight.

And FIRESTARTER? Pure confidence and heat. Sharp lines, bold silhouettes, fire intertwined with feminine power. Each of us has transformed into the most extreme version of herself.

VOGUE: Back in 2020, you said, "There's no point in repeating a styleyou'vee already done” This year's new looks might surprise some fans who are attached toK/DA'ss previous aesthetic. What do you make of that?

Evelynn: Out with the old, in with the new. If a creative choice feels too safe or too familiar, it's the wrong one. Good fashionisn'tt about pleasing people. It’s about provoking a reaction. If this new version of K/DA sparks strong feelings among our fans, whether they love it or hate it, then I’ve done my job.

VOGUE: You helped lead the creative direction of THE BADDEST, describing it as a song about “the swagger we wear like a badge of honour.” Is there a track on the new album that feels especially personal to you?

Akali: Absolutely. NEVER GOING BACK. It’s fearless, and it has an attitude all its own. When I worked with True Damage on Know My Name, I tapped into a really sharp, cutting-edge energy, and I poured a lot of that feeling into this track. At its core, it’s about knowing exactly who I am, knowing where I’m headed, and going full speed ahead.

VOGUE: You’ve always been K/DA’s most rebellious member. Is there ever a conflict between pushing boundaries and being part of a team?

Akali: If you give me a limit, I’ll find a way to break it. That’s never going to change, no matter where I am or what I’m doing. Some people might call that rebellious, but I see it as pushing all of us to be the best we can be. You have to go further and take risks if you want to reach the top. Of course, not every idea works—

Evelynn: Like the time I had to explain why we couldn’t build a U-shaped runway.

Akali: (Laughs) But I know the girls will always have my back, no matter what. We’re working towards the same goal, and that’s what matters most.

VOGUE: You once said, “We can’t predict trends. What matters is understanding music lovers around the world.” Before your last comeback, you travelled the world looking for inspiration. What about this time?

Kai’Sa: I see myself as someone who’s always evolving. There’s always something new to learn, another skill to master. Over the past few years, I’ve been busy with dance residencies and exchanges around the world, learning from masters in cities like Los Angeles, Seoul, Amsterdam, and Shanghai. And New York — I’m so excited to return for this year’s World Championship.

I’ve also been watching a lot of performances. I’m fascinated by how fully the new generation of pop stars is embracing choreography. And finally, I made time to slow down and reconnect with myself, both physically and mentally. If you run yourself into the ground, you’re burning in the wrong direction. (Laughs)

VOGUE: You once said, "We're much stronger together than we could ever be on our own.” What does that mean to you today?

Kai’Sa: That’s always been one of K/DA’s core truths. Each of us is incredibly talented in her own right — I mean, these girls are all superstars. (Smiles) But we’ve always known we’re stronger together.

Today, though, if I could revise what I said back then, I’d put it this way: "It's our individuality that makes us so powerful together.” On FIRESTARTER, each of us pushes what makes us unique to its absolute limit. That’s a whole new level of power.

VOGUE: This November, you’ll take the World Championship stage for the third time. From Incheon to Shanghai to this year, what makes this performance different?

Akali: For me, it’s finally getting to do something I’ve never done before: perform as both True Damage and K/DA in the same show. Having all my favourite people on one stage, with the freedom to go all out creatively — it’s a dream come true.

Ahri: I think this year’s music fits the competitive spirit of the World Championship perfectly. Fearlessness, transformation, burning away the weight of expectations — those are all things the players and teams who fight their way to the finals know all too well.

VOGUE: Since your debut, K/DA has grown far beyond the boundaries of a girl group. How do you define what those three letters — K/DA — mean to you?

Kai’Sa: The meaning of K/DA has continued to evolve for each of us. I’m not much of a gamer like Akali, but I’ve always liked the acronym. In gaming, it represents your overall performance, taking both kills and deaths into account. To me, that means you have to take risks to succeed. As FIRESTARTER puts it, sometimes you have to burn away your old self to rise higher.

Evelynn: Kai’Sa has always been our philosopher. As for me, I prefer to focus on the first letter. Wherever we go, we’re ready to slay.

VOGUE: BLADES have been waiting a long time for your return. What would you most like to say to them?

Ahri: Thank you, BLADES. Your fan creations kept the spirit of K/DA alive throughout our years of silence. We can’t wait to see what amazing things you’ll create in this new era.

Kai’Sa: I couldn’t agree more with Ahri. This comeback is the culmination of how much we’ve grown as artists, as individuals, and as a group. I hope it inspires you to take a new step of your own. And don’t forget to send me your dance videos!

Akali: Your moment is here, BLADES. Be fearless, walk through the flames, and see who you become on the other side. You might surprise yourself.

When we talk about virtual idols, we tend to fall back on one of two frames of reference: technological spectacle or a vehicle for the artists behind the scenes. K/DA is neither.

They’ve forged a third path: virtual idols with a genuine voice in fashion, cultural influence that reaches across boundaries, and the ability to grow just like real-life artists. The problem with most virtual idols isn’t that they can’t become popular. It’s that they never grow up. They’re locked into a fixed image, forever frozen as they were on debut day. K/DA made the opposite choice. They came back with a different face and told the world: This is me, too.

Debuting is an event. Evolution is a capability.

The flame that once flickered inside the temple has become a raging blaze. And now, the whole world is ablaze with them.

K/DA is back. After nearly six years of silence, the pop supergroup dropped “FIRESTARTER” (with the full Firestarter EP following shortly after), complete with a music video and a new visual identity with vibrant shades of black, pink, and burgundy. Miyeon and Soyeon of i-dle have returned as the voices of Ahri and Akali. Evelynn and Kai’Sa however came back with new singers: K/DA’s first Canadian singer Sophie Powers steps in as Evelynn, and English artist Mimi Webb takes over as Kai’Sa. Madison Beer and Jaira Burns, the voices most closely associated with those roles since “POP/STARS” and the ALL OUT era, are not involved this time. Evelynn has had guest turns from Kim Petras and Bea Miller in past releases, but the permanent-feeling swap for the full comeback has some fans reacting negatively, especially Madison’s more fervent supporters. On October 20, Sophie posted a simple message in response to the comments:

The criticism has ranged from a preference for Madison's voice to personal attacks.

Supporters have argued that K/DA has never treated the real-world vocalists as permanent members, and—as mentioned earlier—that multiple artists have already sung as Evelynn. Since the original K/DA release, three people have sung as Evelynn (Madison Beer, Kim Petras, and Bea Miller), and with Sophie that makes four. The track has received a mix of nostalgic sentiment and fresh acclaim, with many listeners praising the pre-chorus and production, even if they acknowledge the vocal change.

Our Opinion: Evelynn’s pre-chorus is one of the most hypnotic and catchy parts of FIRESTARTER. The elongated vowels turn a simple slant rhyme into a masterful vocal hook.

The entire sequence sounds like a siren’s call, stretching the words into haunting, multi-note runs (insaaaaaa-aaaane and veeeeeeiiiinns) and creating an eerie, magnetic draw that compels listeners to sing along.

Riot hasn't given a detailed public explanation for the recast. While Madison Beer has previously said she would have been up for coming back, she also made it clear that the decision wasn’t entirely hers. For a community that spent years poring over every clue, hint, leak, and social media refresh leading up to this comeback, the music is finally here. The inevitable drama around the new Evelynn voice is just the byproduct of a long wait and a changed roster. Sophie is asking for nothing more than basic decency in doing the job she was hired to do. The EP is out. The video is out. K/DA has started a fire.

K/DA is Coming.

The account’s profile picture has also been updated to a new group shot of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa bathed in hot pink energy and smoke, matching the earlier banner refresh that added magenta flame effects to the classic ALL OUT artwork.

This is the first direct communication from the official K/DA account since the December 2020 thank-you post that closed out the ALL OUT era.

For months, the community has tracked a growing pile of signals: a registered track titled “Watch Me,” merch concepts carrying “Start a Fire” branding, Wild Rift data pointing to a “Firestarter” skin line, a Wikipedia edit request hyping up K/DA, and the recent reactivation and visual refresh of K/DA’s social accounts. Today’s post converts those signals into an official date and title.

Rejoice. We are finally getting a comeback.

While we don’t know yet if K/DA will be returning with a single, EP, or—pray—a full project, what videos, skins, or performances may accompany new music, or even the returning lineup, Blades should make sure they’re ready for what comes next.

One clue we have is that alongside multiple animators posting about it, Fortiche replied to the post on X, strongly indicating that we will be getting a Fortiche Prouctions-animated Music Video.

October 20 falls just days before the start of the League of Legends World Championship group stage window and roughly three weeks before the Grand Final in Brooklyn. K/DA has historically aligned major releases with WORLDS.

The official K/DA X and Instagram accounts @KDA_MUSIC have updated both their profile icon and banner image.

The previous banner featured the four members—Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa—posed on golden marble stairs against a luxurious gold-and-crystal backdrop from the ALL OUT era (along with MORE featured artist Seraphine)

The new banner is the same, but adds prominent pink and magenta flame-like wisps framing the left and right sides of the image. The profile picture has also been refreshed to a circular group portrait consistent with the updated banner treatment.

These changes mark the first significant visual refresh of the account’s branding in years. The account had previously retained ALL OUT-era assets and the long-standing bio line “K/DA OFFICIAL // STREAM ‘ALL OUT’.”

Account Blackout

The official K/DA Instagram (@kda_music) now shows 0 posts. It uses the same new pink-burst icon as X. The bio now reads simply “K/DA” with a Linktree link. The TikTok account has also had all of it’s posts wiped.

The pink energy effects immediately stand out. Fans have connected the colour and flame-like quality to the widely circulated “Firestarter” / “Start a Fire” concept that has dominated K/DA speculation throughout 2026. Riot Games has not officially confirmed the skin line name, music release, or timeline. K/DA’s last major music release was the ALL OUT EP in late 2020. On October 11, Riot Games Music’s social accounts posted this photo with the caption “couldn’t let ‘kali leave without dinner first.” It looks like a casual group photo with her among True Damage, but anyone who’s a Blade will have their eyes jump to one very specific detail.

The Table

Akali sits in the center, beaming, surrounded by the rest of True Damage: Qiyana and Senna at her sides, Yasuo and Ekko leaning in from behind. A cake in the foreground reads “GLHF Akali.” You don’t write “good luck, have fun” on a cake for someone who’s just going home. She’s headed somewhere, and the crew wants her to go well fed.

The Clue

Look at the scene and you’ll spot “K/DA” lettering on Akali’s hat. A pair of hands with long, immaculate nails frames the shot in a heart, as if the photo were being taken for someone, or by someone, outside the group.

Put it together: True Damage is seeing off one of their own, and K/DA is waiting for her. To a rehearsal for a K/DA comeback, maybe?

The Reaction

The replies were immediate. “KDA COMEBACK!!!!!!!!” was among the first, and the official Wild Rift Latin America account answered with a wall of caps. Nothing has been announced, so this is still a tease, if anything but a confirmation.

We’ve waited a long time for a post like this. Whatever “‘kali leaving” turns out to mean, K/DA is clearly back in the conversation. All eyes are on Riot Totally Not Music.

K/DA • The Blades Fan Club

On Friday, September 11, 2026, a Wikipedia account going by the username RiotGames1231 filed a conflict-of-interest edit request on the K/DA Wikipedia article,2 not to be confused with the K/DA Wiki.

Wikipedia requires that when someone with a direct connection to a topic— such as an employee, company representative, or the living person an article is about— wants to make a change, rather than editing the page directly, they are expected to disclose their connection and ask an independent editor to review the change instead.

Identifying as a Riot Games employee, the request asked to remove Seraphine from the member list, change the number of members from five to four, and revise the lead sentence describing K/DA.

The request argued that Seraphine has only been a featured collaborator, citing three sources that list only Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa as the members. The implementation of the partial edit came the following day alongside a breakdown from Ahrism1 director JohnnyH2000, who monitors the page and noted:

Honestly, I’m pretty surprised as to how she snuck in there with nobody noticing that.

The source attached to the five-member claim was a Dazed article, in fact, published roughly two years before3 Seraphine’s X account, @seradotwav4, was created, before her official introduction. It could not have supported her inclusion and appears never to have been rechecked when her name was added later.

Seraphine was removed from the members list and the lead adjusted accordingly5, with a source6 added supporting her role as a collaborator. The more promotional suggestion to describe the group as a “global pop supergroup” was declined, as “K-pop girl group” is the framing used across the majority of independent coverage and comparable virtual acts.

While the authenticity of the RiotGames123 account remains unverified, the correction matches the official framing of Seraphine’s role. The timing is notable; the edit request arrives amid a wave of 2026 speculation and signals that includes a newly registered K/DA track called “Watch Me,” as well as merch concepts and Wild Rift data mines pointing to new skins for the girls.

Nothing is conclusive on its own, but a years-dormant page got a cleanup request purportedly by a Riot Games employee on the K/DA page in the same window as everything else is very interesting.

Ahri’s foxfire is flickering again. On August 25, 2026, a new song titled “WATCH ME” appeared in the ASCAP repertory, credited to performers K/DA. The registration (Work ID 929188000, ISWC T3311396933) quickly spread across fan communities and chart accounts, marking the first concrete sign of new K/DA material since the All Out EP in 2020.1

While a copyright registration does not guarantee an imminent release, it is a standard early step in the music industry and has led fans to interpret it as the end of a long quiet period for the virtual group.

The Registration Details

The ASCAP listing shows K/DA as the performer. Writers credited include:

• Sebastien Najand — Principal Composer at Riot Games Music and a core creative force behind K/DA from the beginning (including “POP/STARS”). He has also contributed to other major Riot projects such as Worlds anthems and HEARTSTEEL.

A recent August update for 2XKO is shifting the game to an evergreen state.1 The servers will be staying online, and the game will remain fully playable. Most importantly, the best Nine-Tailed Fox—and her two pool party costumes—is not going anywhere.

Only two months ago, we finally got pool party Ahri.

Riot will unlock the entire champion roster for all players and lift the currency caps as well.2

The Nine-Tailed Fox in Motion

Ahri’s translation into a tag-team fighter made her dynamic, stylish, and incredibly dangerous in the right hands.

Spirit Rush gives her unmatched ground and aerial pressure, making her one of the most fluid rushdown characters on the grid. Ahri’s Orb of Deception provides high-reward mixups, allowing her to lock down space while setting up devastating tag-assist extensions. Every frame of animation from the swirl of her tails to the sharp pink glow of her charm captures the high-fashion, highly lethal spirit that defines our foxy girl.

The Spirit Remains

It's bittersweet knowing the game won’t evolve past December’s final bug-fix patch, but the fighting game community has kept titles alive for decades on far less. The developers announced in their statement that private lobbies will receive an update to support up to 40 players and include voice chat, which means community tournaments and fight nights are fully supported.

A new K/DA comeback rumour is spreading through the League of Legends, K-pop, and (G)I-DLE fan communities. The claim being repeated is simple: K/DA may return around November 2026 with the original four voices — Miyeon as Ahri, Soyeon as Akali, Madison Beer as Evelynn, and Jaira Burns as Kai’Sa.

For now, though, this is still a rumour, not an announcement.

The timing is why people are paying attention. Riot has confirmed that Worlds 2026 will run from October 15 to November 14, with the Grand Final taking place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. That lines up with the rumoured “November” window, and K/DA has always been closely tied to Riot’s biggest esports stages. K/DA originally debuted at the 2018 League of Legends World Championship with “POP/STARS,” performed by Miyeon, Soyeon, Madison Beer, and Jaira Burns alongside augmented reality versions of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa.

The current rumour appears to have spread mainly through fan accounts in the K-pop and League overlap, especially because of the (G)I-DLE connection. Some summaries have described the rumour as originating from “Chinese platforms” or “streets,” but that claim should be treated with caution. The widely shared post uses a K/DA promotional image, not an actual screenshot of a Chinese source.

That does not mean the rumour is impossible. K/DA has been quiet as a major music project since 2020’s ALL OUT era, which included “THE BADDEST,” “MORE,” and the group’s first EP. By November 2026, it would be roughly six years since that last full push. Riot also knows K/DA can reach far beyond the normal League audience. Back in 2018, coverage of K/DA noted how the project pulled in K-pop fans, cosplayers, fan artists, former League players, and people who did not usually care about the game at all.

Confirmed: K/DA exists as Riot’s virtual pop group. The original “POP/STARS” lineup featured Miyeon, Soyeon, Madison Beer, and Jaira Burns. K/DA returned in 2020 with ALL OUT. Worlds 2026 ends in Brooklyn on November 14.

Without any real announcement, this rumour is plausible fan buzz, not verified news. The timing makes sense, the demand is clearly still there, and Riot has a perfect stage waiting in November. But until Riot or the artists officially say something, K/DA is not confirmed to be back.

If one turns to the eldest chronicles—those brittle, half‑forgotten tablets upon which the first myths of Runeterra were etched—you would find Ahri spoken of as a dread spirit of the wilds, a moonlit huntress whose very presence made the forests hold their breath. In those primordial tales, she is named a devourer of souls, a wandering omen draped in foxfire, feared by mortals and whispered of by sages who claimed to know the old truths.

Yet the ages have a way of distorting what they do not understand. For when you cast aside the dust of legend and behold the Ahri who walks the world today, you find a being far removed from the monstrous shadow painted by antiquity. The truth of her nature—complex, searching, and undeniably alive—could not be further from the horror of her legends.

So, does Ahri eat people? No. She doesn’t.

While Ahri once struggled with a magical hunger for spiritual essence, her modern story is entirely about redemption, self-control, and protecting others. She has grown from a lost, instinct-driven fox into a deeply empathetic hero trying to do the right thing.

A Lonely Fox

Before becoming a legend, Ahri was completely alone. She was born into the Vesani, a forgotten and magical tribe of Vastaya—animal-human hybrids. Raised in the wild, she had no family, mentors, or understanding of her origins. Observing human villages from afar, she developed a deep yearning for connection. She longed to experience human warmth, laughter, and love. However, as a being of raw, wild magic, her presence triggered her innate ability—Essence Theft—whenever she approached mortals. But just as the magic began to take hold, Ahri panicked. She realized that erasing the pain would also erase him. She chose to stop the ritual, deciding instead to live with the heavy, agonizing memory of her mistake.

Ahri came to understand that her sorrow was a true reflection of her humanity. She didn’t want to forget her capacity to love, even if it meant carrying a broken heart forever.

That painful choice changed her. Ahri took the broken pieces of her past and used them to build a completely new future. Today, she isn’t running from her magic—she is mastering it.

Ahri is no longer the scared creature hiding in the woods. What she carries inside her heart today is resilience, profound empathy, and a quiet strength. She proved that no matter how dark your past or how deeply people misjudge you, you always have the power to choose kindness and become a hero.

Riot Games has revealed the Pool Party Nights Ahri Megabundle as part of the new 2XKO Patch 1.2.3 update, confirming that Ahri will receive not one, but two summer-themed looks: Pool Party Ahri and Pool Party Nights Ahri.

The bundle is listed under the game’s Store and Cosmetics section and will be available for purchase for a limited time beginning June 9, 2026. Riot also notes that the content “may be available to purchase through other means at a later date,” meaning this release is limited-time for now, but not necessarily gone forever.

For Ahri fans, this is a massive moment. Pool Party Ahri has been one of those long-dreamed-about skin concepts that always felt obvious, inevitable, and somehow still out of reach. Now, Riot has finally made it real — just through 2XKO first.

The reveal also arrives alongside 2XKO’s broader Pool Party event, which begins in Casual Lobbies worldwide on June 29 and runs until July 20. Riot describes the event as bringing special missions, rewards, and new splashy store skins to the game.

The included artwork shows Ahri aboard the Kiramman Yacht, one of three new stages added in the same update. The scene features a bright luxury-deck setting, with Ahri styled in a shimmering poolside outfit while a second Pool Party variant appears beside her in a sporty red look. The visual direction leans heavily into summer glamour, playful foxgirl energy, and Riot’s classic Pool Party charm.

Going forward, when a reported Direct Message is still available, reports should include a MessageValidator link. This gives Security a way to verify that the message actually existed instead of relying only on screenshots or screen recordings.

Why This is Changing

Screenshots used to be the default way to prove what someone said.

That worked well enough when editing screenshots took effort and most fake evidence looked obvious. That is not really the world Discord communities live in anymore. Screenshots can be edited. Browser displays can be altered. Fake Discord conversations can be recreated. Even screen recordings are not as reliable as people often assume.

Reporters need a way to prove what happened. Accused users need protection from fake or misleading evidence. Staff need a fairer way to review reports without turning every case into an argument over whether a screenshot is real.

MessageValidator helps with that.

It lets a member create a verifiable snapshot of a specific Discord message. The link shows the message content and author at the moment it was publicized, so Security can review stronger evidence than a standalone image.

MessageValidator was built around the same problem Ahrism1 is trying to solve: Discord messages are easy to fake.

While discussing Ahrism1’s new message verification requirement, the developer explained:

“That entire space [of fake Discord messages and impersonations] needed a fix… I was hoping that I could help people out and make something beneficial.”

How It Works

To save a Direct Message as proof, first-time users add MessageValidator as an app to their Discord account. This process takes two clicks. They then right-click the message to be preserved and select Publicize Message from the App dropdown.

MessageValidator will send a private link, and this process is repeated for however many messages the reporter needs to prove were actually sent. The provided channel link, when submitted to Security, is then reviewed along with screenshots as a way to verify that the content in them is authentic.

What This Means for Reports

Screenshots and screen recordings can still be useful for context. They may show surrounding messages, timestamps, or the general situation.

But when the reported DM is still available, a MessageValidator link is now expected to prove what is shown in them.

This helps Security make decisions based on verifiable records instead of asking everyone to trust a screenshot.

K/DA has remained conspicuously absent while Riot explored other music projects and virtual acts such as Heartsteel. For a group that once defined esports, K-pop, and global pop culture, the longtime silence has been agonizing for longtime fans.

The massive, unexpected success of K‑Pop Demon Hunters demonstrated just how powerful the blend of K-pop aesthetics, stylized animation, and supernatural storytelling can be on a global scale. "These False Ahri Mains, these traitors, now spread vile propaganda with one aim: to ban Ahri. They gather like a plague, spreading their hateful ideology, planning to sabotage others' games, and fraudulently report any of our people who play Ahri. They seek to poison not only themselves but also the broader champion communities, pitting them all against us. This hateful attack cannot and will not be tolerated."

A popular Ahri streamer, who wishes to remain anonymous, has also commented on the situation:

"I was like- I feel it's stupid- Not gonna lie, it's really really dumb, what they're doing... Like people online and stuff. And I'm sure it's gonna end in like ... a month or so, people are definitely gonna forget about it. But people always talk ... and when it actually happens they don't care."

This hypocrisy and toxic behavior from a community leader are particularly troubling, as it sets a harmful precedent and further alienates regular players who just want to enjoy the game.

Adding to this, there are dozens of rule-breaking posts on r/AhriMains that are not being removed out of spite. This inaction from the moderators shows a clear bias and fosters an environment where toxicity is not only tolerated but encouraged.

It's crucial for the community to channel their frustrations in a way that promotes positive change rather than fostering hostility. By uniting in constructive dialogue and providing feedback to Riot Games, players can effectively communicate their concerns without harming fellow gamers.

Discord users should exercise caution because a third-party company is currently engaged in scraping their messages and monitoring numerous individual profiles on the platform.

According to a report from The Register1, the internet-scraping entity Spy.pet has been actively gathering data from Discord since November of the previous year. Over this period, Spy.pet has amassed more than four billion messages and is currently monitoring 14,000 Discord servers, along with tracking over 620 million users.

While data scraping is not an uncommon practice and occurs on various social media platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn, Spy.pet's approach stands out for its transparency. For example, their website's Transparency section only displays the word "transparency," and the previously available "Request Removal" link redirected users to a video clip from the movie Spider-Man 2 without providing removal options.

Apart from monitoring Discord users, Spy.pet offers an "enterprise" option that requires direct contact with the site's owner for access. The site's creator promotes it with offering, for example, the ability to train AI models.

Enter Ahrimains, a popular Discord server that claims to be dedicated to Ahri enthusiasts. Despite its sizable community, it fell victim to Spy.pet’s data scraping2. The site now displays a comprehensive page on Ahrimains, complete with even including their emotes and stickers, available for anyone to download. The failure of the server’s mandatory captcha “Security” bot to keep Spy.pet’s bots out highlights the critical importance of robust security measures.

This fan club, comprising servers like Ahrism, K/DA • The Blades, and others, has successfully thwarted Spy.pet’s intrusion attempts.
